Advantages of Gearless Exciters
Exciter for Vibrating screen will fit footprint of any vibrating screen exciter
- No gears – simpler design and lower cost
- No gear generated noise
- No gear generated heat
- No gear metal debris
- Exciter can work with linear, dual frequency or circular motion not only linear motion as in case of geared version
- Exciter will keep running even if one of the electrical motors failed – redundancy
- Bearings continuously in oil bath in gearless design and not relying on unreliable splash lubrication as in geared version
- Gearless exciters can be mechanically connected on adjacent screen at opposite phases and
- therefore the vibrations transferred to the structure can be cancelled or significantly reduced. Coupling two screens will reduce the moment and current required to start the screens.
